Save 40% on Your Train Trip to FACTS

Getting to FACTS just got easier. Every FACTS ticket includes an NMBS voucher that gives you 40% off your train journey to and from the event. This only works for a Discovery ticket. Use this link to book yours.

Please note: from Gent-Sint-Pieters station, you will still need to take a tram to Flanders Expo. The tram ride takes approximately 10 minutes and goes to FACTS directly. Check the tram section of this page to stay up-to-date.

 
 

Bikes

Flanders Expo is easily accessible by bike or on foot:

  • from Kortrijksesteenweg via Derbystraat (2 mins)
  • from Gent St-Pieters station via Raymond La Rochelaan (7 mins)

Follow The Loop – Expo on the signs.

Leave your bike for free in the covered cycle park next to Hall 3. Additional bike parking will also be available on-site. 

You can also make use of one of the many bike-share options: Blue Bike, Bolt, Donkey Republic or Dott.

As for the motor cycles: they pay for a parking spot just like the cars do. For directions, please check the car & parking section of this page.

Tram 1

Tram 1 rides frequently between Flanders Expo and train station Ghent Sint-Pieters. One trip should take about 10 minutes.

The tram stop is located right next to the event, it’s only a 1-minute walk to the entrance of FACTS.

A single tram ride costs €3. 

Take note: a tram ride is not included in a FACTS ticket.

We highly recommend taking public transport, to avoid bottlenecks around the Flanders Expo halls.

Bus routes

Buses 76, 77 and 78 should take you to the FACTS venue.

Train connection

Coming by train? Then be sure to get off at train station Ghent Sint-Pieters for the best route to FACTS! Check the website of the NMBS via the button to plan your train route.

From there, you can get on Tram 1 and go to FACTS directly. Check the tram section of this page to stay up-to-date.

Pro tip! Weekend train tickets have a discount compared to week day train tickets. So use those to travel during the FACTS weekend.

Car routes & parking

You can leave your TIE Fighter, TARDIS or other vehicle on parking facilities B & C of Flanders Expo. Parkings PA3 & PA4 are only accessible with VIP Parking vouchers. Check the buttons below for guide videos.

  • Parkings B & C use license plate recognition.
  • Parking prices on B & C prices are not the decision of FACTS. These parking lots are owned and governed by the City of Ghent and their earnings are for the city. A fixed event rate of €18 per day applies.
  • Coming with at least 4 people in one car? You benefit from a carpool discount of €5. (Only on parking B & C and parking Ikea)
    Also: cash is no longer accepted. Please make sure to bring a credit card or be ready to pay via QR code on your mobile phone.
  • There are handicap places on Parking B. These are also paying spots.


Need to charge?
Use the charging stations of Hall 3 and the Boostcharge superchargers at Hall 2. You can also find them on the VIP parkings and on the Park & Ride near the tram station (Nr. 2 on the image). The brand is Wattify. They accept most cards, including VISA, Mastercard, Bancontact and Ideal.

Please park only in the designated spaces.
Illegal parking is strictly monitored by the City of Ghent Mobility Company;
the fine is 58 or 116 euros, depending on the violation.

Carpool & parking benefit

Coming to FACTS with others? Carpooling pays off. Visitors arriving with at least 4 people in one car at Parking B&C or IKEA (Sunday only) will receive a parking discount voucher upon entry.

At Parkings B & C (on both days) and the parkings of IKEA (Sunday only), you will receive a €5 discount voucher upon entry. QR codes are available on-site, scan one and follow the steps to pay for your parking digitally via this payment page. In step 3, you can scan the barcode on your voucher to apply the discount.

At IKEA, stewards will immediately grant the discount to cars with at least 4 occupants. You will receive a €13 discounted parking rate via a QR code when entering the parking. As said above: FACTS does not decide the parking prices, nor does it benefit from them.

Families arriving with four people in one car are also eligible for this benefit.
