Nike reintroduces the 1997 Nintendo 64-inspired Nike Air Max. The sneakers are an ode to Nintendo’s iconic console from 1996, but are nowhere called “Nintendo” for legal reasons. Yet you immediately see that the design is a nod to the Nintendo console.
The sneakers have a mainly gray design, with a few colorful keys here and there that represent the face buttons of the Nintendo 64. The Air Max logo is very similar to Nintendo’s, and the left and right tongues of the sneakers read “Power” and “Reset” respectively.
