Hide your big women and stash your giant’s milk, because the Norwegian actor Kristofer Hivju is coming to FACTS! With his Game of Thrones character Tormund Giantsbane, Hivju became an instant worldwide fan favourite, smashing, boasting and headbutting his way from season 3 all the way to the finale.
We’re not saying we would kneel every time he farts, but we’re not saying we wouldn’t either.
His talents didn’t go unnoticed, as he got the chance to perform in The Fate of the Furious (aka Fast & Furious 8) as Rhodes, the main henchman of Charlize Theron’s character. He also convincingly portrayed the Security Chief in M. Night Shyamalan’s After Earth, in which he delivered impressive dialogue and monologue scenes.
He may have reached global praise for his Game of Thrones performance, but Kristofer Hivju was already quite the celebrity in the Nordic region. With lead roles in the movies Operation North Pole, Turist & the soon to be released TWIN, as well as in the fantastic crime series Beck, we know we haven’t seen the last of this actor yet.
