If you have seen her in action, then you know it: the ravishing Laurie Holden is a paragon of the alpha female on the little and big screen.

She is best known as Michonne’s badass bestie Andrea Harrison in the The Walking Dead series (2010), a likeable woman who is talented with firearms and only needs a handful of tools to slice and dice her way through a horde of zombies. Her only weakness seemed to have been loving a certain crazy alpha male. And even that is something you can hardly hold against her. For this role, she won a Satellite Award in 2012 and a Saturn Award in 2013.

Furthermore, she portrayed the Syndicate agent Marita Covarrubias in X-Files (1996-2002), Debbie McIlvane in Fantastic Four (2005), the savvy policewoman Cybil Bennett in the Silent Hill movie (2006), Amanda Dunfrey in Stephen King’s The Mist (2007) and Adele in Dumb and Dumber To (2014), among many more series and movies.

We are honored to have Laurie Holden as a guest for FACTS Spring Edition.
