Hermann, or Hermann Huppen, is a Belgian artist that has debuted in 1964 and has made awesome art ever since. To name just a few: Bernard Prince, Duke, Comanche and Jeremiah.
Hermann is known for quality, full stop. The sheer amount of detail this man can put in his work, is unbelievable. And multiple series by his hand have greatly benefited from it.
Bernard Prince, for example, the story about the Interpol agent turned adventurer, that was frequently published in the legendary Tintin magazines.
And Comanche, in which he displayed his love for western stories.
And lets not forget Jeremiah, the series set in a post-apocalyptic United States, which has even been turned into an American TV series with Luke Perry.
No wonder that Hermann has won the prestigious Angoulême Comic Award.
We can’t possibly hope to cover all of this amazing artist’s works, but for a more detailed overview, we can recommend this website.
