Robert Lyle Knepper was born on July 8, 1959 in Fremont, Ohio.

He began his television and film career in 1986 with The Paper Chase and That’s Life!. Afterwards, he played larger roles in such films as Wild Thing, Young Guns II and Everyone Says I Love and made appearances in well known television series such as The Twilight Zone, Star Trek: The Next Generation, ER and Law & Order.

In 2005 Knepper was cast as Theodore “T-Bag” Bagwell in Prison Break, a role he played from 2005 to 2009 and in one episode of the A&E series Breakout Kings. His character is considered as one of the greatest television villains of all time.

For television, Robert Knepper had recurring roles in Carnivàle, Cult and Stargate Universe and joined the cast of Heroes for its fourth and final season as Samuel Sullivan.

He also appeared in films such as R.I.P.D., Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, Hitman, Transporter 3 and The Day the Earth Stood and played Frank Sinatra in the film My Way, biopic of Claude François.

Robert Knepper currently stars as Antonius in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 and Part 2.
