Michael Biehn was born on July 31, 1956 in Anniston. After graduating from high school, he enrolled at the University of Arizona on a drama scholarship, but left for Hollywood before completing his degree.
One of his first appearances was in the pilot episode of the sci-fi series “Logan’s Run”.
He first garned notice with his role as an obsessive stalker of Lauren Bacall in the 1981 thriller “The Fan”.
Succes came with 1984’s “The Terminator” in which he played Kyle Reese, who got sent from the future to protect Sarah Connor from Schwarzenegger’s character. He worked with director James Cameron on two other films : Aliens (as Corporal Dwayne Hicks) and The Abyss. He reunited with Cameron for sequences in “Terminator 2: Judgment Day”, but those scenes were unfortunately cut from the final film.
Other memorable films include “The Seventh Sign” (with Demi Moore) , “Navy Seals”, “Jade”, “The Rock”, the very popular Wyatt Earp western “Tombstone” and the 2000 cult horror film “Cherry Falls”.
Thanks to Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez, he appeared in “Grindhouse” and “Planet Terror”.
