Charel Cambré’s style will be a familiar sight many Belgian comic lovers. He is one of the artists at the legendary Belgian comic organisation Studio Vandersteen, and the steady hand behind the drawings of Amoras, the more contemporary and darker Spike & Suzy reboot that has managed to rekindle the love for the adventurous duo for many readers.
Cambré is also the artist behind the Belgian comic versions of The Pfaffs, Spring, Mega Mindy, and The New Adventures of K3. He also draws cartoons about the Belgian royal family, in the Albert & co and Filip of Belgium series. His personal project, which is certainly worht checking out as well: Jump. And the list goes on!
At FACTS, he will sign the brand new editions of ‘Kronieken van Amoras – deel 1’, his latest creation that was only recently published.
