A WISH COME TRUE
PRESENT
On 13 and 14 October 2007 the 17th edition of F.A.C.T.S., a convention around the combined themes of fantasy and science fiction in the broadest sense, takes place in the ICC in Ghent (Belgium).
Apart from the present actors, manga and anime artists and many vendors, several clubs will be represented as well. Some of them, in cooperation with the F.A.C.T.S. organisation, decided to grasp this opportunity in order to support a charitable trust.
Teekay-421 vzw, Rebel Legion Benelux & 501st South Garrison, Fanwars and the organisation of F.A.C.T.S. itself will organise several extra activities during this second weekend of October to raise funds for the Make a Wish foundation, an organisation which has set itself the goal to fulfil the dreams of fatally ill children.
Visitors of the convention will have the opportunity to be photographed against a Star Wars background or at the side of a Star Wars character. There will also be held a tombola, with prizes donated by different sponsors.
This year's F.A.C.T.S. will certainly be a weekend worth to be noted in your agenda!
